Булл, Люсьен


Люсьен Булл (англ. Lucien Bull; 5 января 1876, Дублин, Ирландия — 25 августа 1972, Париж, Франция) — ирландский учёный, изобретатель, один из пионеров хронофотографии, исследовал метод электрокардиографии. Л. Булл был ассистентом известного французского биолога Этьена-Жюля Маре.

Во время Первой мировой войны Булл принимал участие в исследованиях баллистики (и ее фотографическом анализе). Также сфера его деятельности распространялась на изучение системы, физиологии и оптики.

Изобрел высокоскоростной метод фотографирования: в 1924 году в Королевском институте в Лондоне он представил съемки со скоростью 100.000 кадров в секунду.
